Step one: Open your windows
A smelly room will leave a long lasting impression – and not a good one! Make sure you ventilate your room before you start cleaning in order to let in some much-needed fresh air.

Step three: Clear up the clutter
Place any clothes or items you find on your floor, bedside table, chest of drawers, or window ledge onto your bed. Sort them into piles for tidying away in cupboards or other rooms. Then, put dirty washing in your laundry hamper and put clean clothes away. Don’t forget to empty your waste bin, too!
Step four: Clean surfaces
Working from the top down, use a clean damp cloth and a multi-surface cleaner like Jif Antibacterial Spray to eliminate everyday dirt and grime from your room. (Jif kills bacteria such as Salmonella, E. Coli & Listeria and Staphylococcus aureus). Don’t forget to carefully wipe down light switches and – if you have time – skirting boards.
