Before beginning the repair work, make sure you switch off the power and water supply. Then, follow one of the techniques mentioned below.

  • Apply matching paint
Using a brush, spread an adhesive on the back of the replacement tile and place it.

Step 1:

Mix some matching paint with tile filler in a container and dip a cotton swab in it.

Step 2:

Apply it over the cracks and let it air dry, then wipe lightly with a damp cloth. Once done, the crack will be much less visible.

  • Replace individual tiles

Step 1:

Place a rag over the damaged tile and shatter with a hammer.

Step 2:

Remove the tile chips with a chisel and get rid of the adhesive with a sharp knife.

Step 3:

Clean the edges to clear dust and debris that might get in the way of replacing the tile.

Step 4:

Let it air dry for the duration mentioned on the manufacturer’s instruction manual. Fill the crevices with grout and let it dry for 15 minutes.

Step 5:

Once it dries, wipe the tiles with a damp cloth.
