Your bathroom door is exposed to moisture, soap residue, dust and grime, and is susceptible to tarnishing. If not cleaned regularly, your door can accumulate layers of dirt and look ugly. But there’s no need to worry, restoring its look and shine is simple. You only need a smart cleaning method.
Follow our easy cleaning method to get rid of the dirt.
Step 1: Clean Loose Dirt
Before you start cleaning, take a dry cloth and wipe the entire surface of your door to remove loose dirt. Start cleaning from the top and work your way to the bottom.
Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution
Make a cleaning solution comprising 5-6 drops of dishwashing liquid in 3 cups of lukewarm water. Mix well with a spoon.
Step 3: Scrub
Take a non-abrasive scrub pad or a nylon brush. Dip the pad in the cleaning solution, squeeze out excess water and start scrubbing your bathroom door from top to bottom. Refresh the cleaning solution as soon as it gets dirty.
Step 4: Use a Toothbrush
To clean hard-to-reach corners of the door, like the corners, space around the door handle and so on, use a toothbrush. Thoroughly clean these spots with a toothbrush and keep rinsing the toothbrush as it gets dirty.
Step 5: Wipe and Pat Dry
Dampen a cloth in lukewarm water and wipe your door clean. Then, take another dry cloth and pat the entire surface dry. Make sure there’s no moisture left.
The next time you find your bathroom door greasy, try this cleaning method. It’s easy and effective.
