Simple Home Ingredients to Keep Your Bathroom Sparkling the Natural Way

Your bathroom has surfaces that are easily stained. Here is a list of natural cleaners you can easily make using ingredients right from your kitchen.

Here are different bathroom surfaces and some natural cleaning solutions for each.

To unclog your bathroom drain, you can use baking soda as an alternative to vinegar.

1) Mirrors and Glass

Brew a cup of strong black tea. Wait for it to cool. Then pour into a spray bottle. Apply this solution on your mirrors or glass surfaces and wipe using an old scrunched-up newspaper sheet. Allow it to air-dry. We recommend you use newspapers instead of paper towels as the latter tends to leave lint on mirrors.

2) Taps and Showerheads

Hard water stains are common on taps and showerheads and can make your bathroom look uninviting. To clean these, just cut a lemon in half and rub it on the stains. Then rinse with plain water, and the stains should wash right off.

3) Cabinets

To remove tough stains from your bathroom cabinets, create a solution by mixing 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water in a bowl. Soak a small cotton towel in this solution, wring out any excess and wipe the affected areas. Wait for 25-30 minutes, then wipe with a clean cloth dampened with plain water.

4) Drains

To unclog drains in your bathroom, pour 1 cup of white vinegar down the drain. Wait for 5 minutes and then pour half a bucket of warm water down the pipe. This will clear any accumulated dirt and unclog your drain.

Keep these tips handy and you won’t have to worry about stains or any other problems in your bathroom.
