To keep your bathroom looking clean and smelling fresh, you must follow a strict bathroom cleaning schedule. It will not only keep you ready to host guests at all times but also keep your bathroom tiles looking new and lustrous. After all, bathroom tiles are an expensive investment.
Try these tips to keep your bathroom tiles sparkling clean.
1) Vinegar and Warm Water
Mix 1 cup each of vinegar and warm water, then add ½ a tsp. of dishwashing liquid. You can try Vim dishwashing liquid, which is easily available in the market. Pour the contents in an empty spray bottle. Use this bottle to apply the solution on your bathroom tiles. Gently scrub your tiles with a sponge. Wash it off with plain water. Then, wipe the tiles dry using a clean cotton cloth.
2) Use Furniture Polish
Commercial furniture polish is easily available in the market. But, before applying it over your bathroom tiles, test it on a small area. If there are no adverse effects, spray the polish on a microfiber cloth. Now, use the cloth to polish your bathroom tiles. Don’t walk on the tiles for a few hours as the polish makes the tiles slippery.
3) Toothbrush and Toothpaste
Grime and dust settled in the bathroom grout can be an eyesore and difficult to get rid of. Squeeze some toothpaste on an old toothbrush and scrub the bathroom grout with it. Rinse the toothbrush with fresh water and then scrub again. Later, wash off the paste using plain tap water and wipe it dry with a clean, dry rag.
4) Lime Juice
Squeeze 10-12 lemons in a bowl and pour the juice in a spray bottle. Now, generously apply the juice all over your bathroom tiles and let it rest for 2 minutes. Wipe off using a clean, damp rag. Let the tiles air dry.
It is as simple as that! Keeping on top of your bathroom cleaning might seem time-consuming. But with these tips and tricks your task will be much simpler.
