How to get rid of ugly stains from bathroom

Whenever you enter your bathroom, the first thing that grabs your attention is the countertop. The dirty look of your bathroom can spoil the start to your day.

Your bathroom is a high-traffic area. Frequent usage and no after-care can make it look nasty. Apart from that, hard water can also be the reason behind yellowing of your bathroom counters. Hence, keeping the countertops of your bathroom clean is the key as it contributes to making your bathroom look appealing.

Worry not, with some clever tips up your sleeves, you can easily get rid of those ugly stains.

1) For Yellow Stains

Most stains can be eliminated with a warm, soapy water rinse. To create this solution, combine 2 cups of warm water and ½ of cup dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle and shake it well. Liberally spray it all over the dirty bathroom countertops and scrub with a sponge pad. Then, thoroughly rinse with water and wipe clean with a damp sponge. Pat the entire area dry with a clean cloth.

2) For Tough Stains

In a bowl, make a paste of 1 of tsp. of baking soda and 1 cup of warm water. With a soft-bristled brush, evenly apply the paste on the countertops and let it rest overnight. Next morning, wipe it with a clean cloth dampened in warm water. By now, the stains should be gone.

3) For Stains Between Your Bathroom Counter Slabs

To clean between the joints of the slabs on the counter top, make a solution of 1 cup of hot water and 1 cup of baking soda. Using an old toothbrush, gently scrub the solution into the gaps and wait for 10 minutes. Then wash the surface with warm water and wipe with a clean, dry cloth.
