Too many blotchy paint stains on your shower head post renovation? Here’s how you can get them off

We’ve put together this simple step-by-step guide to help you clean it effectively.

Cover the shower head with an aluminium foil. It is the best way to protect your showerhead from paint stains.

Step 1:

Spray WD-40. Spray a heavy coat of WD-40, a lubricant that can be bought at any hardware store. Let it sit for 10- 15 minutes, or maybe more depending on how stubborn and old the marks are.

Step 2:

Use a scraper. A scraper or a putty knife will be useful to scrape the paint off. Scratch it vigorously for a minute or so.

Step 3:

Wash. Wash the surface with some Vim dishwash gel and water to clean off the residue and rinse it with water.
