All that hard water and heavy load really wear off the fabric of your towel. We’ve got a few hacks to get soft towels after every wash.
- Limit the detergent during the rinse cycle. You will have an easier time washing out the last soapy residue.
- Wash in warm water. It helps to absorb the detergent at a higher temperature.
- Add a cup of vinegar to the drum before adding the towels. Don't add fabric softener or laundry soap, but continue to run the wash, rinse and spin cycle like you normally would.
- After the towels have been washed, add a cup of baking soda to the load the same way you added the vinegar. Rinse and spin as you normally would, this time with hot water or on the sanitize mode.
- Dry the towels. Always.
