We all tend to ignore simple instructions on the labels of our clothes and throw them in the machine with a cup full of detergent. Not cool. So, to keep the colours intact let’s keep these few things in mind.

  • Read the tag
PLEASE take a look at the tag. They are there for a reason, a reason to make sure your laundry is not harsh on your coloured clothes.
  • Cold water
Warm water breaks the fabrics so, use cold water to wash your coloured clothes. Cold water also prevents the colours from bleeding.
  • Separate your clothes
Sort your clothes colour wise. Like colours help to keep the colours intact. You can also throw in your jeans but don’t forget to turn your jeans inside out.
  • Detergent
Use detergents which are specifically made for coloured clothes. They are designed to bind the colours and not bleed them. You can also add fabric conditioner.
  • Machine guide
Never put the load on heavy cycle. Gentle, hand wash setting is recommended.

Pretty easy and simple, right!
