Unfortunately, spills do happen. And when you’re faced with tea stains on your shirt, the best thing to do is to act quickly. Check out these hacks for quick and effective stain removal.
- Put a pinch of baking soda on the stain and rub it with a damp cloth for a few minutes till the stain is lifted. Rinse it under cold water.
- Apply vinegar directly to the wet stain. Let the vinegar soak for 15 minutes to dissolve the stain and then rinse once more. Wash it as you normally would.
- Absorb remnants of the spill with a damp cloth. Sprinkle generous amounts of salt directly onto the stain and follow it with some club soda. Rinse with cold water.
Use Surf Excel liquid detergent and rub gently on the tea stain. Allow it to sit on the tea stain for at least 5 minutes. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes and then rinse it thoroughly.
