Is your white cotton shirt ruined with yellow haldi stains? Find these items in your house for a simple fix!

Haldi or turmeric is a prominent and versatile spice that is used quite liberally in Indian cuisine. Haldi has many positive effects on your skin and health. But not so much when dropped on your white shirt.

But before you roll your eyes and plan to discard the shirt, check out this quick fix.

Step 1:

Mix 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 drops of Surf Excel liquid detergent and a litre of warm water in a bucket. Soak your stained shirt in the solution for 30 minutes.

Step 2:

Fill another bucket about halfway with warm water and add soap flakes. Pour cold water once the soap flakes dissolve.

Step 3:

Let your shirt soak in this solution for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour two drops of bleach and clean the stains. Rinse it until all the soap is removed.

Step 4:

Get rid of excess water and air dry the shirt.

There you go; it is simple and effective.
