Here's How You Can Make Baby Wipes at Home in 4 Simple Steps

If you have a baby, you probably use baby wipes a lot. Your baby’s hygiene and safety are of utmost importance. So, if you’re unsure about using the wipes that are available in the market and want to find a natural alternative, you’ve come to the right place. With a few household ingredients, you can create your own DIY natural baby wipes suitable for your baby’s sensitive skin.

Try these steps to make wipes with items that are easily available at home.

Create your baby wipes in small batches and use them within 2-3 months. Discard them if they begin to get mouldy.

Step 1:

Take a paper towel roll from your kitchen and using a sharp knife, cut it into half. A kitchen roll usually has thick paper and hence, is a good option to make DIY wipes.

Step 2:

Place one half of the paper roll inside a box with a well-fitting lid.

Step 3:

Prepare a mixture of distilled water, a few drops of baby shampoo and a few drops of scented oil, and pour it on the paper towel in the box. Once the paper becomes saturated, slide out the cardboard base, which is of no further use, and discard.

Step 4:

You can make a slit in the lid of the box so that it is easier to pull out the wipes.

There you have it! Creating natural baby wipes is a good option when it comes to your little one’s sensitive skin. Since these wipes are made using natural ingredients, they are a safe option.
