Whether your son has accidentally dropped some chocolate on his clothes or your daughter spilt gravy on hers, the trick lies in attacking the stain from the word go! Here are some easy laundry tips to knock those unwanted stains off your children’s clothes like a pro.

1)   Remove Tomato Ketchup Stains with Vinegar

Add 2 cups of vinegar to a bucket of water. Soak the stained garment in this solution for half an hour. Take out the garment and gently rinse the stained portion of your clothing. Next, rub a pea-sized amount of your regular detergent on the stain and wash it in your washing machine with cold water.

2)   Remove Chocolate Stains with Detergent

Take a spoon and scrape off the dried part of the chocolate stain from the garment. Now, hold the stained part under cold running water to remove as much of the stain as possible. In a bucket of water, add 2 cups of detergent and soak the stained garment in this solution for half an hour, and then wash as usual.

3)   Remove Oil Stains with Dishwashing Liquid

Did you know you can remove oil stains from your garments using dishwashing liquid? Well, you can! Simply take ½ tsp. of dishwashing liquid, apply it directly on the stained area of your clothing and rub it gently. Let the dishwashing liquid work its magic for half an hour, then wash your garment on a regular cycle in your washing machine.

It’s that simple! The next time you spot any of the above stains on your kids’ garments, don’t panic. Keep calm and try these solutions. You can thank us later!
