Babies can keep you on your toes throughout the day. Your baby’s clothes are susceptible to stains and getting rid of them is a constant battle. If you want your baby's clothes to look and smell fresh, these laundry tips will help you.

1) Faecal Stains

Start by removing faecal residue from your baby’s clothes using paper towels.  Then hold the garment under running water to remove the residue entirely. Take ½ a bucket of lukewarm water and add 1 tsp. vinegar to it. Soak the garment for an hour. Rinse to remove the stains completely.

2) Baby Oil

To remove oil from your baby’s clothes, rub a small amount of dishwashing soap directly onto the fabric. Then, wash the stained area using warm water to remove the residue completely. Toss the garment in the washing machine on a gentle wash setting.

3) Mud Stains

Rinse the stain with plain water to remove as much of the dirt as possible. Then gently rub a few drops of liquid detergent on the stain and leave it for at least half an hour. Rinse with cold water and again put some liquid detergent on the garment. Put it in the washing machine and wash on a gentle wash setting.

4) Formula Milk

To get rid of formula milk stains, start by cleaning the stain with a stiff brush. Then lay the clothing in a sink or tub. Evenly sprinkle baking soda on the entire stain. Then add 3-4 drops of liquid detergent over it and gently scrub with a brush. Allow it to sit for about half an hour. Then wash as you normally would. Remember to wear rubber gloves when using baking soda.

With these tips, you no longer need to worry about stains on your baby’s clothes.
