Ultimate Way to Clean Stains From Your Floor Tiles!

Food stains and festive celebrations can leave colour and oil marks on your floors. The usual cleaning method of sweeping and mopping may not remove the stains immediately. You may also not be able to get rid of the dirt between the tiles. However, the code to cleaning grout (the cement paste between the tiles) has been cracked, and it requires only a few household ingredients.

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to keep your floor clean.

The longer you let the mixture sit, the better the impact it will have.

Step 1: Make a Cleaning Solution

In a bowl, mix ½ a cup of baking soda, 1/4th cup of hydrogen peroxide and 1 tsp. of dishwashing powder. Remember to use rubber gloves when using hydrogen peroxide.

Step 2: Apply the Solution

Apply the mixture on the grout— the cement paste between the tiles. Make sure you apply it evenly and cover the entire stained area.

Step 3: Let it Rest

Let the mixture sit for 7-10 minutes, allowing it to work its magic on the dirt in the gaps.

Step 4: Scrub

Use an old toothbrush to scrub the area between your tiles. The dirt should come off easily.

Step 5: Wipe

Take a bucket of clean water. Dip a cloth in it, squeeze out the excess water and wipe the area clean. This will remove all the dirt.

There you go! This easy-to-follow process will ensure you get rid of any stains or dirt between your tiles and keep your floors looking clean and sparkling.
