How to Remove Dirty Hand Stains From the Bedroom Wall - Cleanipedia

Dirt and stains tend to show on the walls of your home over a period of time, dulling their beauty. Use these tips to wipe them clean.

The most important part of a stain-removal process is to treat the stain as soon as possible. The sooner you do this, the higher your chances of being able to remove it with ease.

Follow the below-mentioned surface cleaning tips to get rid of those hand stains from your bedroom walls. But before you start, identify the type of paint on your walls. If your walls have waterproof paint, you can clean it yourself using the following tips.

1) Use Dishwashing Liquid + Warm Water

Take a bowl of warm water and add 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid. Mix it well and start cleaning by using a clean sponge dampened in this solution.

2) Use Distilled White Vinegar + Baking Soda

A solution comprising 1 cup of distilled white vinegar and 1/4th cup of baking soda mixed in a bucket of warm water makes for a good cleaning agent. Take a clean rag, soak it in this solution, and wipe your walls clean. Make sure you start from the top and make your way down gradually to avoid drip marks.

3) Use Baking Soda + Lukewarm Water

You can also treat the stains by making a paste of baking soda and warm water. Mix a solution of 1/4th cup of baking soda in a bucket of lukewarm water. Start by gently rubbing this solution on the stains from top to bottom. Rinse and clean using a dry rag.

In case your walls don’t have waterproof paint, we recommend you test a small area of the wall in the corner to ensure you don’t remove the paint while cleaning. If your paint does not get affected, you can continue the process. However, if the paint begins to peel or flake, you should stop and seek professional help.

Try these tips and you’ll be proud when your friends and family appreciate the neat and clean walls of your home. Thank us later!
