Holi colour stains can ruin your highly polished floors and can also make your flooring rough. Well, it's not that difficult to crack the code, as there are some simple and effective hacks to get rid of Holi stains on your white floors.
- Baking Soda + lemon JuiceAdd baking soda and lemon juice to make a paste. Once the paste is ready, apply it directly on the affected area. Use a toothbrush to scrub the paste in the floors for a few minutes. This will lift the Holi stains from the floors. Rinse the floor thoroughly and wipe any excess liquid with a damp cloth.
- Bleach + water + detergentTo clean the stained flooring of your entire house, prepare a solution using 1 cup of liquid oxygen bleach like Rin Ala and 2 table spoons of Surf Excel liquid detergent in 1 bucket of warm water. Pour this solution on the Holi stains and let it sit for 30-45 minutes. Wipe the solution from the floor with a damp sponge.
- Vinegar + waterApply vinegar directly on the stained floor and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes; after which, sprinkle some baking soda on the vinegar patches. Scrub the area with a sponge, and rinse thoroughly with water.
