The thumb rule when tackling stains is ‘acting quickly’.

If you happen to spill curry sauce on a wooden table and it leaves a greasy curry film on the surface, don’t worry; you don't have to live with the discoloration and the smell. Here's a quick fix to solve the problem.

Step 1

Control it.First things first, blot the curry spill from the wood using paper towels.

Step 2

Prepare your solution.. Pour 2 cups of warm water into a bucket. Add 1/4th cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of Vim dishwash liquid to create a solution.

Step 3

Wipe it. Wet a sponge in the solution. Squeeze the sponge to remove excess moisture and wipe over the stain. Repeat till the stain fades.

Step 4

Dry.Dampen a clean cloth with water and rinse the surface by wiping it. Dry the wood.

It’s simple and brilliant. Try it.

Top Tip
