Method 1: Using Water and Dishwashing Liquid

  1. Step 1: Check the Stain

Check the type of stain. Remember, water-based stains can be removed using water-based cleaning agents. For this method you’ll need water and some dishwashing liquid.

  2. Step 2: Treat the Stain

Squeeze 3-4 drops of dishwashing liquid on the stained area of your wooden flooring. Scrub the area with a damp sponge. Do not use a harsh scratchpad, as it may leave unsightly scratch marks on your wooden flooring. Scrub until the stain is completely dislodged from the wooden surface.

  3. Step 3: Wipe Clean

Wipe off the soapy solution with a damp cotton cloth. Let the area air-dry.

Method 2: Using Paint Remover

  1. Step 1: Apply Paint Remover

Pour a few drops of the paint remover on a cotton ball and gently buff the stained area of your wooden flooring with it. Try not to get the product onto the unstained areas of your floor. Let the paint remover sit on the stain for 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2: Clean the Remover

Once the paint remover has dried up. Use a paper towel to blot the residue liquid and give a smooth finish to your wooden flooring.

  3. Step 3: Clean with Dishwashing Liquid

If the area appears slippery or greasy, treat it with mild dishwashing liquid. Take 1-2 drops on a slightly dampened cotton cloth and clean it. Wipe with a clean cloth.

How do you know that the surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom have been disinfected?

Your wooden flooring is now stain-free.
