1) Know the Quality of Your Water

2) TDS Content (Total Dissolved Solids)

Contaminants which are larger than 2 microns are known as 'Total Dissolved Solids' or TDS. For safe drinking water, the TDS should be < 500 ppm (parts per million). Based on research, it is known that tap water’s TDS content ranges from 1000-3000 ppm. Water with a high level of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) can also change the taste of water and cause health hazards.
