Too much stuff at home? Check out these 10 creative ways to declutter your home

The idea of living a minimalistic life looks attractive but is quite hard to maintain. The simplified lifestyle is not a bad idea to adopt as it promotes healthy, clean and organized living.

The decluttering journey is not at all painful, in fact, with the right attitude and method, it can become an enjoyable process for anyone.

Four boxes

Get four big size carton boxes and name them: trash, give away, keep, or relocate to divide all your stuff. No item should be passed over.

Feed to the same box

In your kitchen, store food or liquids in clear containers. Avoid using multiple containers for the same item.

Permanent spots

Decide on permanent storage spaces for items that you use on a regular basis.

The traveller’s bag method

Make sure you pack/store only those things that you can carry to any mountain without any help.

Try the closet hanger experiment

Hang all the fresh clothing in the same direction and those to be sent to laundry in the opposite direction.

Project 333

Wear only 33 articles of clothing for 3 months.

12-12-12 challenge

Quickly locate 12 items to throw away, 12 items to donate and 12 items to be returned to their proper home

Rearrange your space

This will force you to address the junk you are holding onto.

Give 1 item away every day

This will reduce your stuff, one day at a time.

Sell it off

Sell gadgets, appliances and anything that you don’t use/need any more or have become outdated.

See, living a life with just ‘roti-kapda-makan...aur wifi’ is not so bad.
