When you’re pre-occupied with cooking and have a lot of errands to run, you tend to forget to wash your hands before handling storage boxes. It is only later that we realise how sticky they have gotten.

Are your storage boxes imprinted with hand stains? Check out these few tips to remove them!

Clean the boxes once in two months to get rid of all types of stains. Keep this guide handy to clean your storage boxes.

Refill the spray bottle and keep it handy. The containers can be cleaned whenever you want to.

Step 1:

Scrape off any hard residue stuck on the surface. Clean the surface with a clean cloth.

Step 2:

Mix ½ a cup of white vinegar and ½ a cup of baking soda in a container. Pour the mixture into a clean, empty spray bottle and add warm water. Baking soda and vinegar are natural cleaners that will absorb the stains.

Step 3:

Spray the cleaning solution on the stained boxes. Let them sit for 15 minutes. Pick a scrub pad which is suitable for the surface and clean the boxes.

Step 4:

Blot the residue away with a dry cloth and leave the boxes to air dry.
