Black burn stains on your gas stove? This is how you can clean it up using everyday household products!

Cooking yummy meals comes with some serious cleaning challenges.

Stubborn stains, burn marks and stuck-on leftovers require some time and effort. Use these easily available ingredients to get rid of burn stains from the surface of your gas stove.

  • Onion

Cut an onion in four pieces and boil it in water for 20 to 30 minutes. Once the water cools, dip a sponge or a cloth in it and gently scrub the stained area. Rinse with soapy water.

  • Baking Soda

Add 3 teaspoons of baking soda in a vessel filled with water and boil it. Pour a few drops of Vim dishwashing liquid in the solution. Dip a sponge in the solution and scrub the stained area. Rinse with water.

  • Lemon

Cut a few pieces of lemon and directly scrub it over the burn marks. The acidity will make it easier to remove the stains when you clean it with soapy water.

Top Tip

Don’t forcefully scrape the stains with a steel scrub.
