Your crockery can make quite an impression on your guests. Therefore, cleaning and maintaining them is important to retain their shine. As a practice, it’s best to wash your dirty crockery and store them as soon as possible. Follow these easy tips and your crockery will be as good as new.

1) Use Baking Soda

Make a mixture comprising 2 tbsp. of dishwashing liquid and ½ a cup of water. Add 2 tbsp. of baking soda to this cleaning solution. Next, take a damp sponge, dip it in this solution and scrub your crockery. Let it sit for 10 minutes. The cleaning solution will help remove grease and dried food stains from your crockery. Finally, rinse with plain water and dry with a clean cloth. Baking soda is an ideal ingredient as it cleans many materials from glass to melamine.

2) Use Salt and Vinegar

Stains that have been on your crockery for some time can be difficult to get rid of during a regular wash. For stubborn stains, mix ½ a cup of salt and ½ a cup of vinegar to make a solution. Apply this solution on your stained crockery and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rinse your crockery with plain water and then wash again with a dishwashing liquid. The stains should come right off.

3) Use Warm Milk

Take a basin or a bowl large enough to fit the crockery you want to clean. Pour warm milk in this bowl and soak your stained crockery overnight. The next day, use dishwashing liquid to gently wash your porcelain crockery and dry them with a clean cloth. Warm milk works wonders when it comes to cleaning crockery. This tip is ideal to tackle difficult stains on porcelain in particular. Porcelain crockery is delicate and can develop cracks. So, be careful when washing your porcelain crockery, especially while trying to remove a difficult stain.

Now go ahead and serve a delicious meal to your guests in your sparkling crockery.
