Did you make that amazing carrot chutney and now your grinder looks all orange? Check out these simple tips and tricks to get rid of those hard stains.

After making some yummy carrot chutney, you will often notice stains on the grinder that are difficult to remove with a regular wash.

When usual cleaning won’t make much difference, we have a few hacks that you can keep handy.

  • Vinegar & Baking soda

Pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl of water. Mix it to create a paste and apply the paste inside the grinder. Let it sit for 15 minutes, pour some water afterwards and grind.

  • Vim dishwash gel

Pour 3 drops of Vim dishwash gel in the grinder along with 2 cups of water and grind. Rinse it well with clean water and wipe it with a dry cloth.

  • Lemon peels

Scrub a lemon peel on the lid and on the insides of the grinder. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash the grinder with clean water. The acidic substance removes the pungent smell from the grinder.

Top Tip

Use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the pungent odour. While cleaning, let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse the mixer nicely.
