Got Oil and Grease Stains on Your Cooking Stove? Here’s What You Need to Do!

It’s not the cooking, it’s the cleaning up that consumes the maximum amount of time. Busy homemakers are forever looking for tips and tricks to clean their kitchen quickly and easily. So, here are some effective tips for cleaning the heavy oil deposits on your cooking stove in minutes.

You do not have to buy expensive chemical cleaning agents. In fact, everything you need to clean the oily mess on your cooking stove is in your kitchen.

Here we go.

1) Use Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix 1 cup of water with 1 cup of vinegar. Pour this solution into a spray bottle. Ensure that all the stove burners have sufficiently cooled down. Now, spray the solution on your cooking stove and sprinkle some baking soda on the solution. The soda will react with the vinegar solution and loosen the grease. Wipe off your cooking stove with a clean rag.

2) Use Mineral Oil

This is one of the simplest cleaning tricks. Simply pour a few drops of mineral oil on a clean cloth or paper towel. Use it to wipe the oily surface of your cooking stove. The heavy, greasy deposit will slide right off.

3) Use Nail Polish Remover with Dishwashing Liquid

Take ½ a cup of nail polish remover in a bowl. Add 3-4 drops of dishwashing liquid to it and mix well. Pour this mixture on the oily surface of your cooking stove and let it rest for 10 minutes. This solution will cut through the grease and oil. Finally, wipe off with a clean cloth.

4) Use Lemon Juice and Club Soda

Pour 7-8 drops of lemon juice into a bottle of club soda, shake it well and pour it on your cooking stove. Scrub the gunk away with a cloth, and you have a clean and grease-free stove.

Oil-free, grease-free and stress-free!
