Wooden trays look classy and attractive. To keep them looking new for longer, you’ll have to put in a little effort. Use these simple yet powerful tips to clean your wooden trays.
How do you know that the surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom have been disinfected?
1) Use Lime and Baking Soda
Mix 2 tbsp. of baking soda and 4 tsp. of lime juice in a bowl to form a paste. Apply this paste on the wooden tray and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Now, squeeze 2 drops of dishwashing gel on a sponge and scrub the tray. The stains on the wooden tray will come right off. Wash the tray with clean tap water and wipe it dry with a cotton cloth. Your wooden tray should look as good as the day you bought it.
2) Use Vinegar and Hot Water
Prepare a cleaning solution for your wooden tray. Take a bucket of hot water and add 1 cup of vinegar and 1 tsp. of lime juice to it. Soak the unclean wooden tray in this solution for 15 minutes. Ensure that the tray is completely immersed in the cleaning solution. Pour a few drops of dishwashing gel on a nylon scrubber and use it to scrub the tray. Wash it with clean water and wipe off the residue moisture with a clean cotton cloth.
3) Use Lukewarm Water and Dishwashing Gel
To get rid of nasty stains from your wooden tray, prepare a cleaning solution. Add 2 tsp. of dishwashing gel in a cup of lukewarm water. Soak a nylon scrubber in this solution for a minute.
