Keep Your Clothes Stain-Free

Social gatherings in India are incomplete without good food! Don’t miss out on that awesome pani-puri or lip-smacking gravy just because you fear spilling food on your expensive clothes. Yes, food stains are stubborn and difficult to get rid of. But we’re here to help you bid goodbye to these unsightly stains effortlessly. Now you can enjoy the party to the fullest because we’ve got your back!

Try these tricks to remove food stains from your favourite clothes.

Remember to wash your whites and coloured clothes separately.

1) Use Dishwashing Liquid

Dropped salad dressing or gravy on your clothes? Rub a little dishwashing liquid on the stain and rinse with water. Dishwashing liquid is gentle enough to spot-treat most fabrics, including washable wool and silk.

2) Use Detergent

To maintain your whites, make a solution of 2 tsp. of detergent and 2 tsp. of water. Mix it well and rub it directly on to the stained patches on your garment. Let sit for 15 minutes and then wash as you normally would.

3) Use Lemon Juice

Combine 2 tbsp. lemon juice with 1-tbsp. dishwashing liquid and mix it well. Use this solution to remove wine and chocolate stains from garments. Directly apply it to the stained patch and allow it to sit on the stain for 20 minutes. Then dab at the stain with a clean cloth or sponge until it fades and disappears. Repeat the process if necessary. Wash the garment right away on your regular cycle.

Food accidents can happen anywhere, any time, but they tend to take place more often when you’re wearing your finest clothes! Keep this list handy to tackle food stains right away.
