Red wine spilled on your white sofa covers? Don't worry. Here's an easy way to clean the stubborn stain!

White sofas look elegant and classy, but even a drop of red wine can ruin its look and feel in a matter of seconds. 

Buying a white sofa is a pretty huge decision. Spills and stains are going to be visible to anyone and everyone. But, we’re here to save the day. Follow the below-mentioned step-by-step process to clean your white sofa covers.

Step 1:

Remove the dust and dirt. Use a vacuum cleaner and get rid of all the dirt.

Step 2:

Treat the stains immediately. Blot it with a clean cloth. Mix baking soda and water to make a paste. Apply it over the stains with a cloth, let it sit for a while and dab it off.

Step 3:

Create a foam cleanser. Prepare a solution of ½ a cup of Rin detergent and 1/4th cup of water. Use an electric mixer to make a foamy, whipped cleaning paste. 

Step 4:

Attack the stained area. Apply the paste onto the stained area and wipe with a damp cloth.


Dry the sofa using a vacuum cleaner.

You can apply salt to fresh red wine stains and then scrap it off to get rid of the stains.
