The Science Behind OMO Liquid Detergent Stain Removal Power
Liquid detergents are formulated to work as effectively as powder detergents do. Both types of detergents contain powerful cleaning agents that, when dissolved in water, work to draw stains out of fabrics including oil, grease, and dirt. The difference is, liquid washing detergent is already in a liquid form, which allows it to dissolve quicker in water, getting to action quicker.
The OMO Auto Washing Liquid range has been created by the experts at OMO to penetrate deep into the fibres of your clothing. In this way, it can draw some of the toughest stains out of the fabric fibres and release them into the water to be washed away.
What is Liquid Detergent Used For?
OMO Liquid washing detergents have been created to be predominantly used for washing clothing in automatic washing machines. The detergent dissolves quickly in the washing machine water inside the drum to create a stain-busting solution to help clean your laundry effectively.
Liquid detergent can also be used as an effective pre-treatment liquid too. If you have a particularly stained area on a garment, or an older stain that has already set in, all you need to do is pour a teaspoon of OMO Auto Liquid directly onto the stain and rub it gently with your finger. Leave the liquid to soak in for a few minutes, then wash in the machine as per normal.

How to Use OMO Liquid Detergents Correctly?
As with any type of detergent, using the correct dose is key in getting the best results. It’s possible to use too little or too much detergent, which can result in your clothing remaining stained or becoming more stained which is even worse. When using any of the OMO Auto Liquid products, all you must do is:
- ✦
Measure out one capful of liquid. This is the perfect amount for a normal-sized load of washing that is lightly soiled.
- ✦
Pour the liquid into the correct dispenser of your washing machine.
- ✦
Wash on the correct cycle for the laundry load.
- ✦
If you have a heavily soiled laundry load with clothing that is particularly dirty, you can use one and a half capfuls too.
